Zoey, Gone but not forgotten

My dearest Zoey, I rescued you from the animal shelter in 2003 because someone else decided they didn't want to keep you. Their loss was my gain & I loved you right from the start. In 2007 you were diagnosed with diabetes & we battled that for 3 years. Today July 13th, Mommy sent you to be with God in heaven where you will suffer no more & you will be young forever. That thought alone gives me comfort in knowing that you will be happy. Farewell Zoey, Mommy loves you
