Whenever we have experienced a loss, the support and sympathy of those around us helps us to cope. Family members, friends, the veterinary team, fellow pet owners - they can all play a role in helping us work through our sorrow.
There are many ways you can work through your own grieving process. Share your favorite pet stories with those around you, and other pet owners who have experienced loss. Record your memories in a photo scrapbook or a written journal. Talk with friends and loved ones.
